On-Location Headshots for CustomPak in Germantown, WI - Vic Diaz Photography

I recently had the pleasure of completing an on-location headshot photography job for CustomPak in Germantown, Wisconsin. CustomPak specializes in custom propellant canning, and they wanted professional headshots of three of their employees.

We started with traditional headshots in their cafeteria, using a collapsible backdrop with a blue/gray tie-dye pattern. We then moved to the packaging facility to capture some shots in front of their newest filling machine. The employees were excited to showcase their work environment, and it added a unique element to their portraits.

We also took some headshots in the lab and the executive conference room. These different settings provided a variety of backdrops and moods for the photos.

I love doing this type of work because it allows me to capture people in their professional environment. It's also a great way to get to know different businesses and industries.

I delivered the final product to CustomPak within a week of the shoot. They were thrilled with the results, and I'm proud to have helped them create professional portraits for their employees.

It all began with a magical prequince photoshoot on her family's picturesque farm in Wadsworth, Illinois. Urban Romance: A Unique Anniversary Photoshoot in Downtown Chicago

One of the highlights of the session was their rented electric boat from Chicago Boat Company. I hopped aboard and captured some truly unique photos as they cruised along the river, laughter echoing across the water. It was a moment of pure joy and spontaneity.

After their boat ride, we found a set of stairs where they shared a mini wedding cake, a symbolic gesture to celebrate their enduring commitment.

Even a quick break at an ice cream shop became a photo opportunity, capturing the genuine and unscripted moments of their evening.

This experience was more than just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of love, resilience, and second chances. I'm incredibly grateful to Lorena and Rudy for trusting me to capture these precious memories.

Suzi and John's wedding was an absolute dream to photograph! Their celebration at Mickey Finn's Brewery in Libertyville, Illinois was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The Amber Room provided the perfect intimate setting for their ceremony and reception, complete with a beautiful setup, amazing DJ, and stunning decorations.

From the heartfelt ceremony to the energetic dance floor, every detail was carefully curated to create a truly magical experience. The party culminated in a spectacular sparkler send-off as the sun set, creating a picture-perfect ending to their special day.

We were fortunate enough to sneak away with the happy couple to capture some romantic portraits in the picturesque Libertyville Cook Park. The park's natural beauty provided a stunning backdrop for their photos, and we had some fun capturing playful moments on the swings!

The bridal party was an absolute blast to work with, and their energy and enthusiasm were contagious. We captured some fantastic group shots in the park, including a hilarious "Aoki jump" with the groomsmen!

Throughout the day, I focused on capturing the genuine emotions and connections between Suzi, her husband, and their loved ones. I recently had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Lake County Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - Checkmat (LCBJJ) in Mundelein, Illinois, to create a series of portraits showcasing their esteemed black belts. These dedicated athletes, all belted under the expert guidance of head instructor Carlos Archila, embody the discipline and spirit of this incredible martial art.

To capture the essence of these skilled individuals, I opted for a clean and classic approach. Utilizing a white backdrop, a single strobe light with an octobox modifier, I aimed to create portraits that highlighted their strength and focus while maintaining a soft, approachable feel. Last-Minute Family Photos at Independence Grove: The Rivera Family

Sometimes the best things happen unexpectedly! When another photographer cancelled on the Rivera family (twice!), I was so happy to step in and capture some beautiful memories for them. A friend tagged me in a post on the Gurnee Moms Facebook group, and I eventually connected with Coryn to schedule their session at Independence Grove in Libertyville.

Talk about a dream location! Independence Grove is a photographer's paradise, with its stunning natural scenery, walking paths, and of course, that gorgeous lake. It's the perfect spot for family photos in Lake County.

Coryn wanted a relaxed, natural feel for their photos, and I think we achieved just that! We let the kids explore, play, and just be themselves while I captured those candid moments of joy and connection. Of course, we snuck in a few posed portraits too! 😉

This session was a reminder that sometimes, things happen for a reason. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to work with this wonderful family and create these lasting memories for them.
